The KEY is found in His relationship with His Father!
Jesus said He could do nothing except what He saw the Father doing. It’s what gave life, meaning and purpose to everything He did while here on earth (John 5:19).
The Father loved the Son and showed Him all things that He did, and would do!
† For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.”
John 5:20 NKJV
Jesus’ relationship with His Father, is what gave LIFE and FOCUS to everything He was about. It fully embodied WHO He was and WHAT He did! To see the Son, was to see the Father. And to see the works of the Son, was to see the works of the Father.
† He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
Colossians 1:15 NKJV
† Jesus said to Philip, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me. He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”
John 14:9 NKJV
It was in this relationship with His Father, that Jesus found fullness of life and focus for everything He did. His life being made alive by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit!
And it’s in Him, in this relationship between the Father and the Son, that we also can find fullness of LIFE and a renewed FOCUS for everything we do as well.
My PRAYER for you today:
I pray you would be reminded today of the Father’s love for you; along with the life and vision He is able to impart to all His children, to those who have put their faith and trust in His Son, Jesus Christ. May you find fullness of life in Him, feel His loving touch upon your life, and be a healing reminder of His love to all who lives you may touch this day. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen!
