What is the WEATHER like outside, and on the inside? More specifically, what’s the WEATHER like on the inside of your HEART?
You wouldn’t think that during the Summer, it might get a little cold and drizzling in Portland, Oregon. But it does happen at times and more importantly, when it does happen, it doesn’t stop God from being WHO He is.
God Is Still…
God is still omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. He is still all-powerful, all-knowing and ever-present!
He is still transcendent, imminent and immutable. God is high and above, and beyond His creation, yet still personally active and intimately involved within His creation.
The LORD still stands as Sovereign over all things, in heaven and on earth!
The weather cannot stop God’s creative activity; His working in us and desiring to work through us. The Lord is already at work, actively involved in shaping this day as well.
Let me encourage you today!
How will you enter in and participate in the work God is already doing today? How will you joyfully enter into His creative activity this week?
The psalmist encourages us to remember that…
† This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Let’s PRAY!
Sovereign Lord, we praise You this day, rejoicing in Your rule and reign over all things in heaven and on earth. Every day belongs to You, including this one, for You make and shape them all. Grant unto us this day, the grace to be more aware of Your presence and activity at work within us and to bring about your greatest glory! Thank You for your mercies; they are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness! In Your precious name, we pray. Amen!
